1st Annual Holiday Food Drive

Announcing the 1st Annual Pine Valley - Valleywood Neighborhood Holiday Food Drive!

This year, with so many families in need, the PWVWCA Board is hosting a neighborhood holiday food drive. We will be collecting donations from between Monday, November 23rd and Friday, December 11th. Donated food items will be delivered to the Maryland Food Bank and monetary donations will be sent to the Baltimore Hunger Project. The Baltimore Hunger Project uses their donations to provide meals to food insecure local school children who would normally receive them at school. During the pandemic, more children than ever are relying on these meals. Here is a chance to help!

     There are 4 ways to donate:

1. Contact-free porch drop-off to Catherine Bakker at 200 Sandee Road (plastic bins will be on the front porch between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.)
2. Drop-off boxes at the weekly Food Trucks
3. Stuff a Minivan! We will be announcing windows of time when volunteers will be driving through the neighborhood for contact-free pick-ups.
4. Monetary donations to Baltimore Hunger Project via our Paypal direct link.
