About Our Neighborhood

As you settle into your new home, we hope that you will find living in the Pine Valley / Valleywood community a pleasant and rewarding experience.

The community association provides various events to enhance your experience as a member of the community. These events range from a children’s Halloween party to a family Holiday Gathering, complete with Santa riding into the neighborhood on a fire truck, as well as a Fourth of July Parade and Neighborhood Party. We also support spring-cleaning events, such as a stream cleanup, a community-wide yard sale to get rid of those items you no longer need, followed, at some point, by a Dumpster Day to get rid of those items you couldn’t sell at the yard sale. This year we had our first Spring happy hour at the BC Brewery. Dues are $30 per fiscal year, which runs from October to the following September. Dues can be paid by cash, check, or online. Simply follow the directions on the website to log in.

The Board of Governors meet the first Monday of every month. If you are interested in neighborhood happenings or just want to get involved, I encourage you to attend one of those meetings.

Our community association is always open to ideas and programs that help make the community a great place to live. If you have any ideas or suggestions, or would like to volunteer, please feel free to contact me or any of the board members.

I look forward to meeting you, neighbor.
